Pretty amazing piece of equipment. Purchased this for a restaurant kitchen and it is working very well. Used to buy the Waring Commercial blender at about 800 a piece but they required regular repairs which ended costing more than the blender each year. Researched this item for at least 8 months then saw it in person at a trade show. The Best Feature… the speed control knob. That REALLY helps my kitchen staff control the sauce making process and avoid lock ups and spillage. The 1.5 gallon container is also a plus as most commercial blenders are 1 gallon. I have 4 other Vitamix machines at our restaurants for smoothies and I have not had to replace one in over 2 years. Hoping for the same longevity with the XL
