I use it everyday! The Juicer is amazing! Get so much more juice and much less waste compared to most juicers! Love it! So worth the money!
John –
Excellent slow juicer in terms of quality and quantity of juice and low noise. But it does take time to wash produce, cut, drop, bottle and wash equipment. It is fairly quiet but makes a ticking sound when there is no food going through. Sounds like something is catching but it is normal. I can’t compare to other juicers as this is my first. I can tell you it makes good juice. Less foam than a centrifugal juicer and the juice doesn’t separate into layers. Juice colours are constant and vibrant. There is some pulp so I place a 15cm double mesh sieve on top of my Pyrex 1lt jug that collects the juice. You do need to cut produce into long thin pieces. I cut and drop. Half the time have to push produce down with pusher. I keep my chopping/pushing hand dry and use a non-slip ceramic chef knife. I don’t peel lemons. The manufacturer states that’s okay as long as each half lemon is cut up into at least eight pieces. Like John Kohler from YouTube, I don’t worry about coring apples. Just cut the whole thing up and drop in. (Against manufacturer instructions.) Stickers and pips tend to go out the waste pipe. You can choose which way round to have the feed chute (hopper). It functions normally in two positions. Chute near to you or nearer the back. Orange stickers suggest one way. I peeled them off. Now it is all black and looks smarter. Don’t need the stickers, you can feel the chute fit correctly.
